Dr Christiane Al-Haddad is head of the pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus division in the department of ophthalmology at the American University of Beirut. Along with the oncology team and in collaboration with St Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, USA, she helped establish a Retinoblastoma Program in Lebanon. She engages in research both nationally and internationally, with main interests in amblyopia, strabismus, retinoblastoma, glaucoma, genetic eye diseases and machine learning models.
