Dr. Oliver initiated the Ocular Oncology Program at the University of Colorado in 2008 after completing his training in retina and ocular oncology with Tara McCannel, Bradley Straatsma, and A. Linn Murphree. He has developed a programs in plaque brachytherapy and gamma knife radiosurgery for uveal melanoma, retinoblastoma care at Children's Hospital Colorado, including intraaarterial chemotherapy and cell-free DNA sampling, and is a member of the CU VHL Comprehensive Care Center. He is chief of the CU retina service, directs the VR fellowship.
