Biography

Zara is a mining engineer with over 20 years of experience in the mining industry. she has worked as a geotechnical engineer in open pit and underground mines, and as a consultant and service provider working with the mines globally. Zara is currently the VP of mining at Sintela advancing the applications of fiber sensing solutions in the mining sector. She holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from McGill University.
