Amanda Smith is a Senior Environmental Quality Specialist and the statewide Right of Way Contamination Project Manager for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). She serves as the Environmental Owner Representative and environmental lead for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project, providing expertise in contaminated media oversight, brownfield management, and environmental compliance. Amanda collaborates with federal, state, and international partners to ensure the project meets rigorous environmental and sustainability standards. She holds a B.S. in Physical Geography: Resource & Environmental Studies from Texas State University, with a minor in Geology.
