David Schantz is a Sr. Project Manager with Aquaterra, with over 40 years of extensive experience in the investigation and remediation of soil and groundwater contamination He has worked nationwide on numerous projects ranging from large CERCLA and RCRA sites to smaller sites like gasoline stations and dry cleaners. Currently, his work mostly involves the investigation and remediation of petroleum releases, though he also oversees projects with other contaminants (e.g., chlorinated solvents, metals, PAHs, and PFAS). He has a broad academic background, with an M.S. in Engineering Geology from Drexel and a partially completed a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (water resources) from Princeton. His studies focused mainly on remediation and modeling of groundwater contamination. Mr. Schantz is a licensed professional geologist in Pennsylvania, where most of his current projects are located.
