Biography

1) Soham Ray is a Ph.D. Student at UCLA studying bioremediation of 1,4-dioxane, CVOCs, and other emerging contaminants of concern. He also conducts research on vault-packaged enzymes, a ribonucleoprotein nanoparticle, and antimicrobial resistance. 2) Soham Ray graduated from UCSB with degrees in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Environmental Studies. He has worked jobs in wetland restoration, seaweed aquaculture, and air quality. He is a recipient of the NSF GRFP.
