Biography

Mike is a chemist with over 25 years’ experience in both commercial and research laboratory environments. He has a technical background in radiochemistry, analytical chemistry and advanced measurement and inspection instrumentation. He has provided consultancy to nuclear site operators, SME’s, environmental consultancies, the defence sector and national regulators. He is the technical lead for projects that are developing novel measurement and inspection technologies for the future needs of the nuclear and other power industries. This builds on his strong track record, starting from his PhD research, in developing innovative tools to enable the better understanding of the chemical and physical processes of the environment and operational plant.
