Biography

Tongan Jin is a Post Doctorate Research Assistant at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). He received a Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University at 2011. After receiving his Ph.D. degree, he worked as a Postdoctorate Research Fellow at Alfred University from 2011 to 2012. At 2013, he joint Radiological Materials & Technology Development Group at PNNL and worked on glass formulation and melting technology for vitrification of low-activity wastes.
