Biography

Avian Blumhorst graduated from University of Idaho in 2019 and started his career working in Quality Assurance on the N3B project at Los Alamos. He subsequently worked at the Idaho National Laboratory on the Naval Reactors Facility Spent Fuel Handling project as a Quality Control Inspector. In 2021, Avian joined Firewater Associates contracted to Navarro Engineering and Research in supporting the Nevada National Security Site Radioactive Waste Acceptance Program. Mr. Blumhorst’s focus in on quality assurance and trending issues across the generator community.
