Biography

Randy Dziendziel is the Senior Director of Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS) Development and is responsible for the management and operation of Research and Development activities at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, and the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In this role, he leads strategy, coordination, and execution of technology development, engineering, and deployment. His team develops solutions in advanced materials processing, energetic material manufacturing and testing, and process and equipment modernization. Dziendziel joined CNS in 2014 and established an integrated Research and Development Organization across the Pantex and Y-12 sites. He is responsible for production; basic research and development; high-technical-readiness-level project execution and transition; and complementary work.
