Biography

Chemical Engineer and MSc in Nuclear Engineering (UFMG) and PhD in Chemical Engineering (UNICAMP). Training at Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe (KFK), Germany and Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), USA. Visiting fellow at ENRESA, Spain, and at the Sandia National Laboratory, USA. Invited specialist by the IAEA to evaluate and prepare documents in the area of radioactive waste. Experience in the subjects: repository, management and treatment of radioactive and hazardous wastes, cementation and reuse of waste. Researcher at the Nuclear Technology Development Center (CDTN/CNEN), in Belo Horizonte.
