Savannah River Mission Completion
Melissa Santaella-Ramos serves as the Senior Manager for Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) Laboratories. Originally from Puerto Rico, Melissa graduated from the University of Puerto Rico of Mayaguez with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She also earned a Master of Science in Environmental Management and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Maryland. She has been part of the Salt Waste Processing Facility at the Savannah River Site for over 12 years, where she has held leadership and management positions in the Laboratory. Melissa leads SRMC Laboratories to ensure safe and efficient operations while providing timely and accurate analytical data for SRMC operations.
