Biography

Kris Kuhlman is a hydrogeophysicist leading the Brine Availability Test in Salt (BATS), a heater test underground at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). Kris has been technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories for 15 years, during which he has worked on different aspects of radioactive waste disposal, including WIPP hydrology, Deep Borehole Disposal, and Disposal R&D in Salt for generic disposal of spent fuel and high-level waste.
