Biography

Eric Simo graduated from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural and geotechnical engineering. After his graduation, he joined BGE TECHNOLOGY GmbH as research assistant where he is working on the design of repository mines as well as on integrity and safety analyses of repository systems and geotechnical barrier systems. His main areas of research lie in the numerical modelling of thermo-hydro-mechanical phenomena occurring in deep geological repositories.
