Savannah River National Laboratory
Daniel McCabe is a fellow scientist at the Savannah River National Laboratory, where he has worked for over 30 years. His research has focused on separations, characterization, and treatment of hazardous and radioactive wastes. He earned a B.S. in chemistry from Loras College, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of New Mexico, and was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Michigan. He has many years of experience in radionuclide separations, including for cesium and technetium removal from tank waste and secondary waste streams.
