Biography

Thomas Millan is a materials engineer at Andra (French national radioactive waste management agency). After a Ph.D in materials science at UPMC-Paris 6 University, he worked for a few years at Schlumberger on well cementing and then he worked during five years for a french engineering group on building materials durability. He joined Andra in 2021 and first worked for Andra's Engineering division on ILW-LL disposal containers design and performances verification. Today, he works for the Scientific and Technical division and manages the scientific and technical activities related to ILW-LL disposal containers.
