Quentin has always had a passion for science and technology. This interest grew even more when Quentin was 15 years old and discovered the world of additive manufacturing. Quentin was fascinated by the ability to create complex objects from scratch using this technology. He choose to follow his passions in physics and additive manufacturing by obtaining a Master degree’s in mechanical and materials engineering, Quentin he’s currently doing his PhD at CEA Université Paris-Saclay. The aim of his work is to combine optical sensors with additive manufacturing technology to provide new self-monitored component for the nuclear industry.
