Biography

Simon Watson is a senior lecture in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK. He has an MEng and PhD from Manchester and is member of the IET, the IEEE and the WCSIM. For the past 10 years, he has been working on the development of autonomous systems for the remote characterisation of nuclear waste storage facilities on the Sellafield site in Cumbria, some of which are the subject of this presentation.
