Biography

Tom Johnson is a research fellow at The University of Manchester. He is currently a part of the prestigious EPSRC Postdoctoral Prize Fellowship Scheme, which facilitates his research in to the swabbing of beryllium-contaminated assets in the nuclear fusion industry. His research interests include sample retrieval, robotics and in situ characterisation. His work focuses on using robotic technologies to solve problems in analytical science.
