Biography

Dr. Matt Mellor began his career at the Oxford University Medical Imaging Research Group developing multi-modal medical image fusion methods. In 2005 he moved his focus to nuclear clean up and began applying the same underlying techniques to nuclear characterization, especially in reprocessing plants. In 2010, he founded Createc to pursue innovative sensing applications for industrial inspection. Since then, he has lead the Createc team as they have developed and deployed a number of first-of-a-kind sensing solutions for nuclear, including the N-Visage 3D Radiation Imaging System, DEEP depth profiling system and RISER autonomous radiation mapping drone.
