Biography

Emmanuel GROLLEAU started his carrer in 2000 as a criticality safety engineer in the nuclear fuel cycle industry. In 2004, he joined the IRSN (Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté Nucléaire), the French Technical support organisation, performing regulatory safety reviews for various facilities types such as research reactors, nuclear laboratories, irradiators and accelerators. Since 2020, Emmanuel GROLLEAU is the head of the Departement in charge of the Safety reviews of Research, Industrial and under-decommissioning facilities at IRSN. In that field, his department provides technical safety opinions to the French nuclear regulatory body, namely ASN.
