Biography

Mr. Tunstall is a thirty-two-year nuclear professional with over twenty-five years of experience in gamma-ray assay and passive neutron physics applications used for radiological characterization in support of uranium enrichment activities and D&D of nuclear facilities. He managed the nondestructive assay program operations at the East Tennessee Technology Park from the start of the Oak Ridge Three Building Gaseous Diffusion Project through the successful completion of the K-25 Demolition. Mr. Tunstall now leads the United Cleanup Oak Ridge, LLC’s nondestructive assay program that will focus on the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management’s next cleanup challenges at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 National Security Complex.
