Biography

Previously a Technologist then Scientist at Plessey Research on process improvement and fault resolution for III-V, Si and SOI semiconductors. Part-time Leicester University 1st class degree in Chemical Science awarded in 1987. Research Assistant at Liverpool University on a novel III-V R&D project. PhD from part-time study was awarded in 1992. Published in various conference proceedings and journals. Managing Director of TKE with a successful track record of manufacturing complex components for advanced motorsport, defence and technology projects using programmable machinery. More recently involved in nuclear decommissioning work with a hands-on focus for making robotic solutions deployable in these challenging environments.
