Biography

Dennis Jackson is a Research Engineer at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River National Laboratory. Mr. Jackson holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He began his career at the Savannah River Site in 1990 and is involved with research & development in support of the DOE’s Environmental Management program. While with SRNL Mr. Jackson has evaluated and developed techniques to improve monitoring, characterization, and remediation of organic compounds, heavy metals, and radionuclides in various environmental compartments at several DOE and DoD facilities.
