Savannah River National Laboratory
Kenneth Dixon is an engineer at the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) where he has conducted research related to environmental characterization and remediation since 1991. Mr. Dixon has worked on pilot scale testing of innovative remedial technologies targeting both the vadose zone and saturated zone, numerical modeling of contaminant fate and transport in the vadose zone, numerical modeling of groundwater flow, and environmental dosimetry. He has investigated aquifer and well hydraulics as they relate to groundwater remediation and has researched the hydraulic properties of cementitious materials for use in waste disposal activities at SRS and other DOE facilities. Mr. Dixon holds bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees in Agricultural
