Biography

After 12 years at Andra (French National Agency in charge of the radioactive waste management) as nuclear decommissioning project manager and engineer in charge of the acceptance of nuclear waste for disposal, Vincent FAURE has joined IRSN (French Institute of radiological and safety nuclear) as expert in operational radiation protection for the IRSN emergency preparedness and response activities, for 5 years. He has now experience in operational radiation protection and field assessment with specialization from the deployment of various equipment of radiation surveys (Aerial surveys using UAV and ground base surveys, in situ gamma spectrometry…) up to the production of maps.
