Biography

Steve Reddy is a geoscientist with research interests spanning large-scale tectonics to nanoscale material transfer in terrestrial and planetary materials. His expertise lies in the advanced characterisation of geological materials at high spatial resolution using innovative integration of analytical techniques. He is recognised for his pioneering research on the quantitative microstructural characterisation of accessory minerals and the development of atom probe tomography in the geosciences. He is Science Director of the Geoscience Atom Probe, an initiative to understand the nanoscale geochemistry of mineral systems and their geologic significance. His current research focuses on the nature and significance of mineral interfaces.
