Biography

Dr. Wei Zhou has a Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Engineering from University of California at Berkeley. She has several decades of experience in safety and performance assessment for disposal of LLW, LILW, HLW, and SNF. Her field of expertise includes system and process level modeling of radionuclide release and transport. Dr. Zhou previously provided technical consultancy and participated in various projects for numerous governmental, industrial, and intergovernmental clients both in the US and abroad. Dr. Zhou has participated in and played various roles in several LLW disposal performance assessment projects.
