Biography

Dr. Loren Lund has 34 years of experience in environmental risk analysis, with an emphasis on applied toxicology. His experience includes designing, interpreting, and defending toxicological studies. He was a regulatory toxicologist in Texas and an adjunct professor at the University of Texas Austin. He has been an expert witness for Texas in contested case hearings. Dr. Lund is Jacob’s risk assessment practice leader and senior technical consultant for multiple PFAS risk assessment initiatives and projects. He was on the steering committee, a session chair, and/or presented at AWMA’s 2021 and 2022 PFAS specialty meetings, and the 2022 Battelle and JETC conferences PFAS sessions.
