Biography

Dr. John Xiong is the Emerging Contaminants Practice Leader of Haley & Aldrich, Inc. in Costa Mesa, CA. He oversees Haley & Aldrich’s development and implementation of innovative technical solutions for emerging contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Dr. Xiong has 18 years of experience in environmental consulting, research, and litigation support, focusing on contaminated site management and remediation. As a Principal Investigator, he is currently leading three applied research projects funded by federal agencies to develop and demonstrate innovative technologies for PFAS treatment and assessment.
