Biography

Naomi is the Head of Strategy for Nuclear Waste Services, leading strategy development and sustainability to optimise and integrate nuclear waste management across the UK. Early career commenced as a geologist and used her strong science foundations to become a leader of complex nuclear technical programmes. She worked for nearly two decades across high hazard legacy waste retrievals; spatial planning; decommissioning; HLW; and land remediation at the Sellafield site. Naomi has recently been invited to join the IAEA technical working group on waste technology, member of WIN UK and fellow of the geological society. Naomi has a PhD in the migration of radionuclides in groundwater near UK sites.
