Biography

Mr. Frédéric LEDROIT has 18 years of service at a technical support organisation (IRSN), including at managerial level. Since 2018, he is Deputy Head of the Transport and Fuel Cycle Facility Safety Department. He supervises IRSN’s expertise on radioactive material transportation including package design and dual-purpose casks as well as expertise on non-reactor nuclear installations including facilities dedicated to the management of nuclear waste and to the storage of nuclear spent fuel. He is also involved at international level in activities related to the safe predisposal management of radioactive waste and the transport of radioactive materials.
