Biography

A former classroom teacher and instructional coach turned literacy specialist, Laura founded Escuela 35 in March 2020 when homeschooling her own children and tutoring others. This experience transformed Laura’s understanding of biliteracy and language development. What began as a pandemic pivot became a mission: to empower educators with the professional learning, coaching, and resources needed to make language development and foundational skills accessible for every learner. Expert in biliteracy, language development, orthographic linguistics, culturally and linguistically responsive instruction.
