Biography

I was born and raised in California’s beautiful Central Valley to immigrant parents. I bring a wealth of experience in non-profit and family engagement work. I strive to successfully carry out PIQE’s goal of building up capacity in family engagement. I have seen how empowering families and fostering collaboration with schools can create transformative results. My passion for education and family engagement stems from the profound influence PIQE has had in my life. I firmly believe love, understanding, and compassion are the cornerstones of achievement and I strive to continue making a positive influence in our community, one parent and one child at a time!
