Biography

Kris Isfeld is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Rithmik Solutions, which leverages artificial intelligence for predictive maintenance on mobile mining equipment. He has 11 years of experience implementing data collection and automation for the “Industrial Internet of Things” (IIoT) and “Industry 4.0”; in fact, he began working in those fields before there were even names for them. For over 3 years, Kris was the key technical contact for the Maintenance Decision Support Program (MDSP) in Syncrude mines. The system collected data in “real-time” from mining haul trucks and shovels. He also designed and implemented the Honeywell Mobile Equipment Monitor (MEM) DataLogger software, which collected near-real time data from mobile mining equipment. In doing so, he worked with data from Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel engines and GE drive systems, among others. The streamed data powered continuous monitoring of conditions as well as analytics for remote mobile equipment. In addition, he has 8 years of leadership, management and executive experience as the VP of Engineering with Investopedia.
