Biography

Martin joined Atkins in 1984 as a graduate and is Chief Executive Officer of Atkins’ Energy business which is a main executive board position. He holds both a BSc and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He was awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering Silver Medal in 1998 for his work on risk assessment in the oil & gas industry. Martin has over 25 years experience in the energy sector covering oil & gas, nuclear and marine renewables.
