Biography

Myrian Wood is the UK’s National Nuclear Laboratories Waste Management and Decommissioning Acting Director. Myrian is responsible for the development and application of leading edge technology that will reduce the cost of clean-up and decommissioning plus maintaining critical nuclear skills. Myrian team is based at several UK nuclear facilities including Sellafield and provides expertise in residue processing and waste management, effluent and environmental monitoring and measurement and analysis. Myrian is a Mechnical Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the nuclear industry particularly the Sellafield site where she is based.
