Biography

Carl Scherman is a Mechanical Engineer for Savannah River Remediation, LLC at the Savannah River Site. He has 8 years of engineering experience with 7 years in the nuclear industry. He has a BS degree from the University of South Carolina and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He has been a Design Authority for the Modular Caustic-Side Solvent Extraction Unit where he has implemented many improvements and modifications into this facility which is the subject of this presentation.
