Biography

Dr. Kuramochi received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University in 1997. He currently works as a Section Head at the National Institute for Environmental Studies in Japan since 2010. His research interests are behavior of radioactive cesium during thermal treatment of radioactively contaminated wastes, development of incineration simulator, and development of decontamination technology for highly-contaminated incineration ash.
