Biography

Peter graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an Honours degree in Geology and Environment. He is currently a self-employed nuclear environmental consultant working under the auspices of his own company Hylton Environmental, and has 30 years of nuclear industry experience. His UK and international project work is wide ranging and includes stakeholder engagement, contaminated land assessment, environmental remediation, radioactive waste disposal, knowledge management, peer review and training. He has undertaken extensive work for the IAEA across a variety of disciplines including training, writing best practice guidance and technical missions.
