Biography

Elaina Anderson is a graduate student at the University of Michigan, where she studies the microstructural evolution of irradiated steels using atom probe tomography. Elaina served as the inaugural intern for the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board during the summer of 2014. Her work focused on the connection between technology and policy in the federal landscape as it pertained to the disposal of high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. She has additional internship experience working for Kurion Inc. and Pacific Northwest National Lab.
