Biography

Caroline Goessens started working for Tractebel Engie (formerly Tractebel Engineering GDF Suez) in 2012 and has been involved in the decommissioning studies for the Doel 1 and 2 nuclear power plants up to 2014 with the design of a dedicated waste management facility and a main focus on compaction and grouting techniques. Currently she is mainly involved in the set-up of the preliminary decommissioning plans for the Belgian nuclear power plants of Doel and Tihange, including the corresponding provisioning.
