Biography

Peter has over 35 years’ international experience of delivering Board-level business change programmes. Peter served from 2009-14 as the Commercial Director of Magnox Ltd.; the operator of the UK’s first generation nuclear reactors. During this time, Magnox extended the lives of 8 reactors by 15 reactor-years, defueled 10 reactor cores, reduced life-cycle costs by £1.5Bn and removed 34 reactor-years from C&M Preparations. As Commercial Director, Peter chaired the company’s Sanction and Validation panel; directed the company’s £400M+ p.a. procurement and contract management activities; acted as the key account manager with the NDA and chaired the NDAs £3Bn Shared Services Alliance.
