Biography

Udo Weintrager is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and field implementation. Over a period of almost 30 years he was responsible for a large number of projects ranging from underwater repair and modification of core internals, manipulator development to reactor decommissioning. He joined Westinghouse in 2008, mainly responsible for the development of field service equipment and processes. Besides this he had taken over technical leadership role for special products such as the manipulator portion of Fukushima 1F3 Spent Fuel Retrieval Project, or the floating platform which is part of Sellafield FGMSP Additional Sludge Retrievals Project.
