Biography

Chris Phillips is Vice President and Technical Director, with Atkins Engineering & Technology Division. Based in Richland WA and before that at the Sellafield nuclear site in England, he has over 40 years experience in the nuclear industry, covering used nuclear fuel reprocessing, nuclear waste treatment and disposal, high level waste separations & vitrification and used nuclear fuel long-term storage and disposal. He has an Honors degree in Applied Chemistry from Brunel University, London, England and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
