Waste Control Specialists
Ed has contributed to domestic and international decommissioning projects for more than 20 years starting with a pair of nuclear submarines. Ed helped to develop the licensing basis for the first variable burnup spent fuel cask, disposed of retired reactor vessel heads and steam generators, characterized and developed segmentation and packaging plans for more than a dozen power reactors. At WCS, Ed integrates characterization, packaging, and transportation to safely move radioactive waste from operating and decommissioning sites to disposal. Ed earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, and a Masters of Business administration from New York University.
