Biography

Rebecca graduated from her first degree with a Masters in Chemistry from The University of Nottingham in 2012. She then went on to work for the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) for ten months before starting her engineering doctorate (EngD). Rebecca is currently in the fourth year of her EngD at The University of Sheffield in the UK. The project is a collaboration between the university and NNL. The research is sponsored by Sellafield Ltd. and the EPSRC in the UK and focuses on optimising blends of blast furnace slag for the immobilisation of ILW waste.
