Biography

Norman Kent is owner of NKENT CONSULTING, based in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. Mr. Kent has over 30years experience in the commercial nuclear fuel industry. A nuclear engineer by education (Masters Degree from NCSU in 1990), he worked several years as a criticality safety engineer at the Westinghouse Commercial Fuel Fabrication Facility in South Carolina before moving over to help start the transport package engineering and licensing group. He later joined Daher-TLI as the Director of Engineering Services. He started NKENT CONSULTING LLC in May 2016, and has since been involved in several interesting package design, licensing, and transport projects.
