Biography

Andrew Akin graduated from New Mexico Tech in 2014 with a degree in environmental engineering. He has nearly a decade of experience in both analytical and experimental laboratories. He worked at the Czech Nuclear Research Center at Rez for two summer internships which helped with his bachelors thesis entitled “DESTRUCTION OF RADIOACTIVE ION EXCHANGE WASTES UTILIZING MOLTEN SALT OXIDATION”. He is currently exploring grad school or employment options in the nuclear waste field.
