Biography

Currently, Dr Wachter is the Technical Director of Canberra’s Measurement Services Group. With over 20 years of experience in the field of Non Destructive Assay, he has worked for both the US national defense laboratories and private contractors who support the laboratories. He received a Ph D in physics from New Mexico State University. Most of Dr Wachter’s recent efforts have been in support of new NDA TRU waste systems at the Oak Ridge and Los Alamos National Laboratories.
